We speak multiple languages and understand various cultures, norms, and traditions, ensuring our clients feel comfortable and respected at their home. Our organisation supports CALD communities across Australia and some of our teams' families are recipients of government-funded aged care and disability support services. This shared understanding means we relate to your experiences, so you're not alone.

Our team is experienced in managing a wide range of needs, behaviours, conditions, and disabilities. Each staff member undergoes thorough police checks and holds professional certifications, including first aid and CPR. In order to deliver the highest level of care and achieve quality outcomes for our clients, the services we provide follow evidence-based best practices and are overseen by a management team with extensive clinical experience.

As a registered provider, we deliver approved aged care and disability support services that comply with the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards. This compliance ensures our commitment and accountability to delivering industry-standard care. Clients and their families can have confidence and peace of mind in the safety, consistency, and reliability of the services they receive.

Yes, our services are NDIS-funded. You'll need an active NDIS plan with appropriate budget allocations for the services you require. If you don't have an NDIS plan yet, we can provide information about the application process.
We're here to help! Many of our participants are new to the NDIS. We'll take time to explain your plan, budget categories, and how our services align with your goals. If you have support coordination funding, we can also help you connect with a support coordinator who specializes in NDIS navigation.
While we can provide general information and guidance about the NDIS application process, official applications are submitted directly to the NDIS. We can recommend advocacy services or support coordinators who specialize in NDIS applications if you need hands-on assistance.
Our NDIS services support people under 65 with a permanent disability, funded through an NDIS plan. Our aged care and clinical nursing services support older Australians who need daily living or health-related assistance, generally accessed through My Aged Care and government aged care funding. If you're not sure which applies to you, get in touch and we'll help you work it out.
Registered providers, like Care Steps Australia, are approved by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and meet strict quality, safety, and audit standards. This means we can support NDIS participants under any plan management type — self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed — whereas unregistered providers can only work with self-managed or plan-managed participants.
Costs depend on the type of support and your plan. As a registered provider, we charge within the NDIS price limits set by the NDIA, which are reviewed and updated periodically. We provide transparent pricing before any service begins.
Yes, through our Workforce Solution service we supply pre-vetted carers, support workers, and nurses to aged care facilities and disability providers who need short-term or ad-hoc staffing coverage. This is separate from our direct NDIS and aged care services to individuals.
